Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Introduction

IPSKU (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a global marketplace for buying and selling registered trademarks, operated by OXO INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use ipsku.com (the “Site”), how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have over your data.

By using the Site or submitting an inquiry, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Contact details — your name and email address when you submit an inquiry through a trademark page, our cart page, or our contact form.
  • Inquiry content — the trademarks you are interested in and any message, questions, or requirements you share with us.
  • Transaction information — details needed to complete a purchase or listing, such as billing information and payment-related records.
  • Saved items — trademarks you add to your wishlist or cart.
  • Correspondence — records of emails and messages exchanged with our team.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8 below.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries — we aim to reply within one business day.
  • Facilitate trademark transactions, including escrow-protected payments and ownership transfers.
  • Verify listings and prevent fraud, misuse, or other unlawful activity.
  • Improve our marketplace, content, and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing are: your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Transaction parties and providers — with escrow services, payment providers (such as PayPal and banks), and, where necessary to complete a transfer, the counterparty and relevant trademark offices or legal counsel.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, and email providers who process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

5. International data transfers

We operate from Hong Kong and serve customers worldwide. Your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions other than your own. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — to protect your data during such transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy: to respond to your inquiries and handle follow-up questions, to complete and document transactions, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

California residents additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected and to non-discrimination for exercising their privacy rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ip@ipsku.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — for example, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) in Hong Kong.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as wishlist items), understand how visitors use the Site, and improve our services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal information.

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Payments are processed through reputable third-party providers, and funds are held securely until you confirm the trademark transfer is complete. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
